Last weekend I met up with Sonya & Eddie for a Just Because photo shoot.  Eddie is a pastor and a couple members of his congregation gifted them with a photo session.  Sonya & Eddie were sweet, and funny, quick to laugh and share a smile, and even after 20 years it’s obvious that they are still very much in love.  Enjoy your Sneak Peek!

This is Sonya’s car, which she and Eddie BOTH love to cruise around in.  Apparently Eddie  catches a lot of slack when HE drives it because of the front plate.

2 weekends ago, we had the privilege of photographing Katherine & Lewis’ beautiful Albany wedding.  I met K&L about 6 months ago and have since come to really enjoy all the times that I get to spend with them.  They’re such a sweet couple – very laid back and comfortable with themselves and each other, their relationship is easy, fun, and full of laughter.   It was great to see them sit back , relax and just enjoy their wedding day with their families and friends.

These next 2 pictures make me LOL everytime I see them.  I told the guys I wanted them to strike a pose and THIS is what they came up with.  Guy On the End, Stage Left BUSTS ME UP (I think his name was Casey, but I’m not sure) -  I have no idea what he was doing, but he was a LOT of fun! 

Katherine and Lewis opted to do a First Look – where they see each other before the wedding.  We LOVE First Looks!

These two were so stinking cute, my face almost melted from adorable overload.

This little princess cracked me up.  I think she was caught off guard by how adorable she was because she kept sneaking looks at herself in the mirror and twirling around.

These two images were taken 3 seconds apart.  At first, he was giving me the Cheesy Gradeschooler Grin (not pictured) so I started talking to him to loosen him up (left picture).  The picture on the right is the face he gave me when I asked him, “you married?”

Casey and I were having some indecisive moments about the ring shot.  Which one do you like best?

When we met Katherine & Lewis the morning after the Big Albany Snow of 2010, I was REAAAAALLLY hoping that some of the snow from the day before would’ve stuck around.  I mean really, how many Alban-ians can claim that they had their engagement pictures done in the snow?

Alas, by the time we met up for our session, the snow had melted and all that remained was a VERY brisk wind and some chilly temperatures.  We decided to meet at Starbucks for some morning joe and a warm up and then we got started!  K&L – we had so much fun with you guys and can’t wait for your wedding! Last weekend we met up with Brian & Betsy who are the cutest, sweetest couple and lots of fun too. We stomped around the train yards downtown (um…for a while anyway) and had some fun taking portraits to celebrate their one year anniversary.

Saturday morning dawned dreary and cool, with heavy fog and drizzly rain but Kim & Conrad drove all the way from Florida for some engagement pictures and we were undeterred by the weather.  Okay, so **I** was a little aprehensive, but Kim was all rainbows and sunshine as she cheerily told me, “let’s just give it a try!” at 7:30 am as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and sipped my coffee on the way out to our meeting site.

So Kim & Conrad rocked it out and we had a great time getting to know them a bit better.  We can’t wait for your 2010 wedding! Enjoy your Sneak Peek!

Hello Flawless skin!

Lemme just tell you that Kim & Conrad looked at me like I had a 3rd eye when I asked them to lay on the ground! LOL  After checking for bugs….and double checking…and a close examination of the grass for poisonous foliage, we landed it.  And I’m glad that they trusted me enough to do it because it’s one of my favorites from their session.
