Kim & Conrad | 5.15.2010

Tuesday, June 1st, 2010

Here at TNP, we LOVE us some Kim & Conrad and I have eagerly been awaiting their wedding day for the last 6 months!  When Kim bought her dress, she texted me a picture and I squealed with delight – “GORGEOUS!” I replied.

And then she emailed me pictures of her jewelry, her hair piece….she asked my opinion on the centerpieces and… well, I’m not sure why she was asking me what *I* thought because Kim has EXQUISITE taste and it totally showed on the day of her wedding!

Kim is sweet, modest, and unassuming with an air of grace and a gentle spirit.  Conrad is funny, arrestingly charming, and he has a fantastic middle name. And dimples (Which his buddies ribbed him about on several occasions throughout the day) And the two of them make a perfect pair. :)

Oh! After a few emails from brides in the planning stages, I’ve decided to start posting links and info to vendors and resources that my current brides are using, so here’s some of the details from Kim & Conrad’s wedding:

Coordinator: Michelle Sherfield

Hair styling: Billi Geter

Makeup: Selena at Backstage

Wedding Dress: Chica’s Bridal

Cake: Ms Debbie’s Sugar Art

Reception/Event Planning: Unforgettable Events (they did a STANDUP job! Some of the most beautiful I’ve seen in this area)

Harpist: Calista Anne Waddy

Ceremony Music: TJ & the Bridge Connection

Videographer: Crosslight Video

Reception Site: Doublegate Country Club

DJ: Jai Entertainment (he was great, by the way)

Enjoy your Sneak Peek guys! We loved spending the day with you!

I thought this part of the ceremony was super cool.  Instead of the traditional unity candle or container of sand, Kim & Conrad had these interlocking pieces of a cross that they joined together – I’ve never seen that done. :)

Lindsey & Jess | 4.17.2010

“What did the fish say when it swam into the wall?”

“dam”

This was the “P.S.” at the end of Lindsey’s email after we first met and it made me laugh out loud and that moment I knew I was destined to be her photographer on her wedding day.  I guess she knew too because at the end of her email she said “we pick you!”  and I smiled as I typed back my response and quizzed her sitcom tv knowledge with a PS of my own.

I {heart} Lindsey & Jess.

Their wedding was the most relaxed, chilled, & personalized that we’ve ever been to.  Lindsey was a dream bride – an easy smile, ready to have fun and enjoy every minute of her day.  Even a debacle with the flower arrangements on the morning of the big day she handled with humor and grace (and some mad bow-dismantling skills).  Jess was calm and quiet, and enthralled with his bride.  It was a beautiful wedding and I’m sure will be a beautiful marriage.

Congratulations you guys! Enjoy your Sneak Peek! :)

Personal details make a wedding so special.  I loved that Lindsey tied her grandmother’s rings on her bouquet.

Their wedding was simple, elegant, and intimate, and took place in the same church where Jess’ parents and grandparents were married.

Jess’s grandmother (?) lived less than a mile from the reception site, so we made a quick stop there before the reception to take some photos.

It was quite obvious when we arrived at the reception that Lindsey had put a LOT of thought into the decor.  Her pink & green theme was pulled together so flawlessly and each detail was obviously thought out and planned for beautifully.

2 weekends ago, we had the privilege of photographing Katherine & Lewis’ beautiful Albany wedding.  I met K&L about 6 months ago and have since come to really enjoy all the times that I get to spend with them.  They’re such a sweet couple – very laid back and comfortable with themselves and each other, their relationship is easy, fun, and full of laughter.   It was great to see them sit back , relax and just enjoy their wedding day with their families and friends.

Katherine & Lewis – thank you for asking us to be a part of your day.  Enjoy your Sneak Peek! :)

These next 2 pictures make me LOL everytime I see them.  I told the guys I wanted them to strike a pose and THIS is what they came up with.  Guy On the End, Stage Left BUSTS ME UP (I think his name was Casey, but I’m not sure) -  I have no idea what he was doing, but he was a LOT of fun!  :)

This little princess cracked me up.  I think she was caught off guard by how adorable she was because she kept sneaking looks at herself in the mirror and twirling around. :)

These two images were taken 3 seconds apart.  At first, he was giving me the Cheesy Gradeschooler Grin (not pictured) so I started talking to him to loosen him up (left picture).  The picture on the right is the face he gave me when I asked him, “you married?”

Sunday, January 17th, 2010

Hey everyone, I’m BACK! Didja miss me?

I had a great time over the holidays, relaxing with  my family and recharging for 2010!  If you’ve called or emailed me over the last 3 weeks, please be advised that my inbox and voicemail box are SLAMMED and I will be returning messages for the next couple of days. So please hang in there just a little bit longer and we’ll be setting up appointments and bridal consults and sessions in no time at all!

So let’s start things out right with a blog post, shall we?

Enjoy this Sneak Peek of Katty & Christian.  Their wedding day dawned bright and….well, RAINY.  And COLD.  But that didn’t dampen their spirits one bit.  They had a beautiful Christmasy wedding and threw one heck of a party after!  Enjoy your Sneak Peek guys — thanks for inviting us to be a part of your day and thanks for your patience over the last couple weeks! :)

More posts to come soon!
